Meet Dr. AFIFI

Dr. Arman Afifi, DDS, MD, is an oral and maxillofacial surgeon and the owner of Almaden Valley Oral Surgery. A California native, Dr. Afifi earned his undergraduate degree in biology at UC Berkeley before completing his Doctor of Dental Surgery at the University of the Pacific Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry. After four years in general dentistry practice in San Francisco, his passion for surgery led him back to training at UCSF, where he completed a six-year oral and maxillofacial surgery residency and earned his medical degree.

Dr. Afifi specializes in wisdom teeth removal, dental implants, and full-arch restoration, including All-on-4® implant treatment — a life-changing solution that allows patients to replace an entire arch of failing or missing teeth with a fixed, natural-looking smile. He is committed to combining advanced surgical techniques with warm, personalized care that puts patients at ease, and is honored to carry forward the legacy Dr. Carroll built over more than three decades of serving the Almaden Valley community. Outside the office, Dr. Afifi enjoys ceramics, working out, playing guitar, and motorsports.
